My Hotel in Herzliya

Updated: Jan 15, 2018

May 2014

After the long and stressful day that was my flight to Tel-Aviv, I was definitely in need of some R&R once I got here. Luckily, my hotel is right on the Mediterranean.

This is my view:

Myself and a few of the other girls on the trip decided it would be a good time to spend a few hours on the beach, and we did. After laying out for a little while and testing out the water – which was a little chilly – we decided to take a walk down the length of the beach. There are a ton of shells everywhere, and one extremely odd-looking jellyfish. No, we didn’t touch it, we poked it with a stick.

After our beach excursion I came up to shower and organize myself before dinner. My first meal here in Israel was great. We ate at the Benedict, a 24-hour all breakfast restaurant near my hotel. It’s kind of like Denny’s, but wayyy nicer.

The dish I had was three little burgers over some really good potato patty that I can’t remember the name of, topped off with goat cheese, lettuce, tomato salsa, and a poached egg. I only was able to finish about 2/3 of it, but I wish I could’ve ate it all.
